LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The victim of a hit-and-run on the Interstate 264 East ramp from Taylor Boulevard on Saturday has died.
Louisville Metro Police said officers responded to to the ramp on a report that a pedestrian had been hit just before 8 p.m. Dec. 6.
Investigators believe the man was trying to cross the ramp when he was hit by a vehicle that took off in an unknown direction, LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said in a statement.
The man was taken to University of Louisville Hospital with critical injuries where he later died, police said Thursday.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating. At last check, no arrests had been made. Police did not provide a description of the vehicle.
