LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Water shot dozens of feet into the air from a water main break at a downtown Louisville intersection Tuesday afternoon.
The break took place shortly before noon at the corner of South 2nd Street and West Market Street.
A spokeswoman for the Louisville Water Company said workers in the area hit the water main.
The water company initially turned off the water but said via email shortly after 6 p.m. that water had been turned back on — though crews expected to remain on site for "a few more hours" to finish repairs.
