LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — This week's WFPK Waterfront Wednesday will move to Thursday as rain continues to fall across the Louisville area.

Officials said the concert series originally scheduled for May 27 will move to May 28 at the Big Four Lawn due to "weather and site conditions."

With the date change, originally scheduled headliner Arlo Parks will be unable to perform "due to prior commitments." MODISTE will instead headline the show, with two local artists yet to be announced.

Thursday's concert will run during the usual time, 5-9:30 p.m. The free series draws crowds for live music, food trucks and skyline views along the river.

The concert series runs monthly through September. Gates open at 5 p.m., and music begins at 6:30 p.m. at Waterfront Park's Big Four Lawn next to the Big Four Pedestrian Bridge.

Additionally, the Monarch Living Room Stage Bluegrass Jam that was scheduled for Thursday has also been rescheduled, though the new date has not yet been announced.

The next Waterfront Wednesday is scheduled for June 24, with The War & Treaty and Second Story Man.
