LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say a woman was killed after being hit by an SUV on Zorn Avenue.

The accident happened on Sunday morning around 1 a.m.

Authorities say the woman was hit while crossing the street and that she was not in the cross walk.

Investigators have not ruled out alcohol as a possible factor in the incident.
