What is going on at Metro Corrections? Their first error was truly systemic. They were holding people well past their required sentences. Prisoners were kept for days and even weeks longer than allowed. This failure happened under previous leadership, but it was so widespread that the city just reached a staggering $20 million settlement to compensate prisoners—paid for with your hard-earned tax dollars.

Then, under current leadership, they accidentally released Kejuan Jackson, a convicted felon and a documented danger to the community. They just… released him. These practices and errors require changes with Metro Correction’s systems.

Here's what our viewers had to say:

"Let's call it like it is. There is some accountability be held here, not only with the corrections department. It's with the judges. That's who put them out on the street. Those judges need to be reprimanded. They need to be removed. They're a danger to our community."

"Sound to me like you got a lot of incompetent people in the system. Get on top of it, Kentucky. Thank you."

"Mr. Lamb, first of all, don't cut down Barney Fife. And if you will recall, the jail cells in Mayberry were never closed. It would be an upgrade here."
