LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A New York City-based burger chain will make its way to the Hoosier state.
Holy Burger will take over the former Taco Bell on 10th Street in Jeffersonville, Indiana, according to our partners at Louisville Business First. The location sits between Main Street and Nachand Lane.
The chain got its start in Manhattan in 2018. Since then, it has expanded to 36 locations across the country. The Jeffersonville location will be Holy Burger's first in Indiana.
The restaurant's owner said the company targets spots just outside of major cities to build the brand.Â
Holy Burger, which is known as Holy Cow in some markets, is a quick-serve burger restaurant, selling beef burgers, sliders and other specialty items like chopped cheese and chicken sandwiches. The Jeffersonville menu includes sides such as fries, onion rings and crispy cherry peppers, along with desserts like milkshakes, cookies and brownies.Â
An opening date for the Jeffersonville restaurant has not yet been announced. The owner plans to modify the former Taco Bell building over the next several months.
