A Glock switch is a small device that turns a semi-automatic handgun into a machine gun. These aren't tools of self-defense. They're tools of mass destruction. They're illegal at the federal level, but not in Kentucky which severely limits the authority of local and state police to confiscate them.

House Bill 299 proposes making possession of a device like a Glock switches a Class C felony in Kentucky. I strongly urge the Kentucky legislature to vote in support of this bill.

Here's what our viewers had to say:

"Mr. Lamb, I agree with you 100%. The switches they are using on these guns are just killing more faster."

"I agree with Mr. Lamb, but I think the wrong definition is used. The gun cannot do violence. It's The people behind the tool."

"Any firearm in Kentucky that's fully automatic, without a tax stamp, is illegal. You do not have to legislate anything else."

"You can pass all the laws you want, but until you get the judges and the prosecutors that put them behind bars for good, it's not going to do any good."

"Yes, the Glock switches should be taken off the streets, but, it's still not going to stop crime. It's like bump stocks. If you hold a weapon up against your shoulder the correct way, you can just keep on firing by the recoil of the weapon. It's that simple."
