The Jefferson County PVA had planned to reassess properties in MLS areas 2, 3 and 7 in 2020. These areas will not be reassessed until 2021, PVA Colleen Younger said.

About 100,000 home and commercial property owners in Jefferson County will be spared from a planned reassessment that likely would have resulted in higher tax bills later this year, Jefferson County PVA Colleen Younger said Wednesday.
