Rendering of whiskey bar and restaurant at The Last Refuge

An old gymnasium attached to the back of the church will be transformed into a whiskey bar and restaurant "with the largest selections of American whiskey anywhere," the developer said. Photo courtesy of Heaven's Door Whiskey.

The building at Market and Hancock streets was built in 1879 and has at different times been home to The Refuge in Kentucky Church and the Market Street United Methodist Church.
