It was supposed to start in May of last year, but was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A replacement plane was sent so the flight could resume, and passengers were scheduled to arrive in Fort Lauderdale at 1 a.m. Sunday, officials with Allegiant Air said.
Allegiant also plans to double its nonstop flights to the Fort Myers, Fla., region to four a week.
