A man died after being shot Saturday afternoon in west Louisville.

Investigators determined the man was shot shortly prior to his arrival in the 1000 block of South 28th Street, near West Kentucky Street.

LMPD said 34-year-old Coplen Lay was arrested after an anonymous tip was made to their hotline.
