Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to a shooting in the 3000 block of Pioneer Trail just before 4:30 a.m.

The Bullitt County woman who pleaded guilty to shooting and killing her two young sons is expected to learn her prison sentence Friday.

Tiffanie Lucas is scheduled to go to trial in December for allegedly killing her two young sons.

Tiffanie Lucas was charged after her six and nine year old boys were found murdered in Nov. 2023. 

To date, 32-year-old Justin Burt has not been found.
