The 15-year-old girl was hit by gunshots that were fired into the home from an unknown vehicle that fled the scene.

LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said police responded to a shooting in the 600 block of South 28th Street around 10:30 p.m.

Louisville Metro Police said officers responded just after 6 p.m. to the report of a break-in at Zion Baptist Church in the Russell neighborhood.
