Kentucky is set to spend more than $8 million in gas tax and toll revenue to fix 'errors in construction' on the I-65 bridge, documents show

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says air pockets beneath a bridge joint that have contributed to broken and missing bolts were not 'visible or detectable' in inspections following a $22 million rehab of the Kennedy Bridge during the Ohio River Bridges Project.
