Fresh fruit, vegetables, milk and snacks were gathered in a matter of days to help those in need in the city's Parkland neighborhood.

The library created the pantry to address the need they noticed in the community — a need that Shepherd said has continued to grow this year.

A Louisville nonprofit is seeing it's dream come true thanks to local businesses stepping up.

The food pantry was founded at the school in 2019.

Members of the Old Utica School Preservation group worked to create a new Dare to Care site to help. 

The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) is calling on Indiana residents to help keep the state's food pantries operational during the COVID-19 outbreak.
