JCPS Chief Information Officer Kermit Belcher said Friday that the district’s decision came after Google added a waiting lobby feature for its video conferencing platform.

At least eight JCPS high schools have chosen to suspend live virtual learning for the rest of the week after several middle and high schools dealt with interruptions from students who logged into virtual classes they weren’t assigned to on Tuesday.
