Pamela Mitchell listened over the phone from work as her family was detained. She said she has understanding and compassion for the officer who was injured, however she wants to know why her family was "put in harms way" as the standoff ensued. 

Four people have been arrested in connection with the shooting, but no one has been charged with firing the shot that hit the officer.
