Bridge #2 is a bridge in the historic park that carries the Scenic Loop over Beargrass Creek, just south of the base of Cochran Hill Road near Baringer Hill Path and the park's frisbee field.

Field crews will begin the first of two deer population surveys this summer in an effort to reduce the wildlife-vehicle crashes and improve highway safety.

According to a news release, half of the people who died last year weren't wearing seatbelts.

Drivers still have two toll-free options: the 2nd Street Bridge in downtown Louisville and the Sherman Minton Bridge at 9th and Main. 

As we head into Fourth of July weekend, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is issuing a reminder that "buzzed driving is drunk driving."
