The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said the left and center lanes will be closed to complete work on joint repairs between East Broadway and the Kennedy Bridge. 

The closure allowed crews to address areas of I-65 impacted by recent semitruck crashes.

Two lanes will remain open, allowing traffic to continue southbound on I-65.
