DNA evidence led Kentucky State Police to arrest a Texas man in a 1990 sexual assault case.

Brooks Houck, Rogers' former boyfriend, is set to go before a jury on June 24 in Bowling Green.

Nelson County Circuit Court Judge Charles Simms III has also banned cameras and electronic devices from the courtroom. 

Attorneys for Steve Lawson argued Monday that a mistake made in not performing DNA testing on two hairs found in Rogers’ car in 2015.
