LMPD said scammers tell the victim that a warrant has been issued because of a missed court date, they didn't show up for jury duty or an overdue fine.

Threatened with an arrest warrant and a fine for missing a jury summons, a Louisville attorney was on his way to the courthouse to pay up when he realized he'd been scammed.
