A Boyle County couple is $50,000 richer — despite almost deleting an email from the Kentucky Lottery confirming their Powerball win.

A Louisville couple won $50,000 on a Kentucky Powerball ticket purchased on Bardstown Road near the Highlands.

Seconds later, a $50,000 win appeared on her screen. The odds of winning that prize with a $5 wager are one in 2,000,000.
