With even colder air in the forecast, area experts are offering tips on protecting your home and pets as the temperatures drop. 

One person is dead and another was injured after crashing their car into a tree and a utility pole in Louisville's Buechel neighborhood Sunday evening.

The utility company said some customers that have damage to equipment at their home might be responsible for repairs before power can be restored.
