Mahmoud Shalash was sentenced after pleading guilty in January to conspiring to kidnap a man who owed him money.

Authorities discovered the murder-for-hire plot because the person whom Sadiqullah hired as kidnapper/murderer was a confidential source for the FBI.

On Tuesday, Laura Buckingham pleaded guilty to solicitation to commit first-degree murder.
