What started as a business has turned into a charity.

They rallied because of what happened about a week ago. On Dec. 13, the county got a letter from a Wisconsin-based group demanding the nativity scene be removed from public property.

Wisconsin-based Freedom From Religion Foundation wrote a letter to commissioners in Jackson County saying that a "concerned local citizen" contacted the group.
