Spring semester kicks off soon for many Kentucky colleges and universities, and they are taking steps to keep students and faculty on campus despite surging COVID-19 cases.

The school says students can use the money to buy education-related items. They can also use it for food, toiletries, medicine, traveling home, and to cover for lost wages caused by closures.
