Clark County CARES works to increase awareness of addiction and its causes, holding free educational and solution seminars.

The Kentucky Orchid Society held its 34th annual show and sale at St. Matthews Episcopal Church on Hubbards Lane.

Families each brought items of their relatives to be placed in a box that will be sent to Washington, D.C. as part of the Gun Violence Memorial Project at the National Building Museum.

For now, that means limiting access to campus for family, friends and even the media.
