At 25 years old, Pvt. First Class Leonard Adams, a Dana, Indiana, native, shipped off to Northeast France. 

U.S. Navy Fireman 2nd Class, Martin Young, 21, was assigned to the USS Oklahoma.

Members of local organization Rolling Thunder Kentucky showed up to Veterans Memorial Park in Jeffersontown on Saturday to pay tribute to Lt. Colonel Kenneth Stonebraker.
