FEMA can identify, mobilize and provide equipment and resources to support state and local efforts in response and recovery.

Gov. Andy Beshear said there have been around 1,000 rescues due to flooding since storms hit Kentucky. 

The NWS has confirmed a tornado in Prospect, Kentucky, and Jeffersonville, Indiana. The NWS said it is likely this was one tornado, but that's not confirmed yet.
