Indiana Department of Transportation said minor bridge deck work is planned starting Sunday at 10 p.m. until Monday at 6 a.m. 

The overnight work is scheduled to start Monday, April 7, weather permitting. 

After many setbacks and delays, this multi-phase project is finally approaching its end and business owners couldn't be happier.

The right lane of Interstate 64 West, on the top deck of the bridge, heading into Indiana will close at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8. 

For nine days, drivers won't be able to use the Sherman Minton to get from New Albany to Louisville.
