Since then, WDRB has repeatedly asked the mayor’s office for cost information and documentation related to the project.

The state is seeking a permanent injunction, with a hearing set for February of 2025.

In order to do any kind of work in a creek, river or lake, permits are required from the Department of Natural Resources and Army Corp of Engineers.

New Albany Mayor Jeff Gahan authorized the maintenance to eliminate the hydraulic roller effect. 

The signs are going to be placed near the public entrance to the dam area.
