A southern Indiana boy died after a large tree fell onto a mobile home as strong storms moved through last week.

The declaration is effective for 30 days and allows the Indiana Department of Homeland Security to begin providing financial assistance.

Floyd and Clark counties took the brunt of the storms in the WDRB viewing area. 

The tornado damaged homes in the 60-year-old mobile home park off US 31 in Clarksville.
