Fern Creek Elementary is not among JCPS schools hiring for teaching vacancies days before classes begin for the 2022-23 school year.

We're having to look at things differently with our schools in order to minimize the impact of staffing shortages in our schools, especially teachers," JCPS Superintendent Marty Pollio said Tuesday.
