A federal grand jury in Louisville on Tuesday charged one former and two current Kentucky State Police Troopers with using unreasonable force for beating or tasing several people without reason over the past four years.

Thomas Czartorski was sentenced in a perjury case last month to three years diversion, meaning he will not serve any time in prison as long as he stays out of trouble.
KSP will pay $130,000 of the $135,000 settlement, and the remaining $5,000 is expected to be paid by Thomas Czartorski.
