Authorities say the incident started when officers in Saint Matthews tried to stop the man after the license plate of the car he was driving on Old Shelbyville Road came back as stolen. 

Two women were arrested Thursday in connection to a shooting Wednesday in the parking lot of a Walmart in Paoli.
