LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A popular sports show is bringing its live broadcast to downtown Louisville.

It is all part of ESPN's new "50 States in 50 Days" initiative, bringing the network's popular "SportsCenter" to the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory Wednesday, July 9.

Kentucky native Michael Eaves, who usually hosts the 11 p.m. show, will also anchor the special live broadcast during the 6 p.m. edition of "SportsCenter."

Starting on June 27, SportsCenter: 50 State in 50 Days will begin broadcasting from different locations across the country, featuring a mix of live on-site shows and storytelling segments, while highlighting the sports traditions of the city they're in.

The goal is to capture what it really means to be a sports fan in America.
