LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Leslie's Rose was a multiple-length winner Friday in the 87th running of the Grade 1, $600,000 Central Bank Ashland Stakes at Keeneland.
The unofficial top-four finishes were Leslie's Rose, Just F Y I, Impel and Candied.
This was the third win of the day for jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. The odds for Leslie's Rose, who's trained by Todd Pletcher, went off at 9/1 odds.Â
The Central Bank Ashland Stakes features 3-year-old fillies at 1 1/16 miles. Leslie's Rose secured 100 points toward the Kentucky Oaks.
This is the first Grade 1 of the year for 3-year-old fillies. The last Ashland Stakes winner to claim the Kentucky Oaks was Malathaat in 2021.
