LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- You can Pitch in Against Cancer this Sunday at Lynn Family Stadium.
WDRB's Keith Kaiser plays some Bocce and checks out some cool cars before the event.
Bocce & Cars for a Cause happens on Sunday, May 12th from 2pm to 4:30pm, a bocce tournament on the Pitch of Lynn Family Stadium.
And a car show with 100’s of show cars in the purple lot.
Bocce is basically Italian lawn bowling.
The bocce tournament will have up to 40 four-person teams that will play in Lynn Family Stadium over the home pitch (the technical name for a soccer field) for the Racing Louisville FC and Louisville City FC professional soccer teams.
$800 per team of 4.
Meal provided for all participants.Â
Don't know how to play, don't worry, Bob Valvano will walk all participants through the simple game of Bocce.
The car show is hosted by Okolona Street Rods & South End Power from 10 am to 4:30 pm with a trophies and awards presentation at 3:30.
More than 100 trophies will be awarded including raffles, giveaways and more.Â
Concession stands and restrooms will be open and available inside the stadium for attendees.

The car registration fee is a donation to Kentuckiana Friends of V (KFOV).
