LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Famous Louisville Chef Edward Lee recently released a cookbook called "Bourbon Land."

Lee visited WDRB Mornings on Friday to talk about his book and his love for bourbon.

A review of the book described it as knowledgeable, entertaining and said Lee is more than a little infatuated with the subject of bourbon.

The book helps people learn more about bourbon as an ingredient, not just a drink. Each recipe in the book uses bourbon in some way.

All of the recipes in the book are for home cooks, no matter your level of knowledge in the cooking world.

The book is not just recipes listed. Lee talks about the history of bourbon, how it came to Kentucky, how to taste bourbon and the people in bourbon.

"It took me two years to research and write this book," Lee said Friday. "I had so much fun doing it and am excited to share this knowledge with the world."

The book is available in signed copies at Carmichael's Bookstore and at Lee's restaurants: 610 Magnolia and Nami Modern Korean Steakhouse.
