LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --  A local radio personality is one of the stars of a new reality dating show on Fox.  Alex Clark is sharing a little of her experience before the debut of Coupled on Tuesday night.

The show from Survivor creator Mark Burnett tries to help 12 women find love on a Caribbean island.

"Basically, the premise is like Tinder in real life,"  Clark says.  "You meet a guy and talk for a few minutes, then choose--do I walk left and say, 'No, I'm not interested.'  Or, do we walk right and say we are interested."

The women aren't competing for one man's affection, though it's possible more than one woman will find the same man attractive. Throughout the show, the women have the opportunity to bail on a relationship and start over with a new guy.

"I told my parents everything because there are some moments that are going to be weird watching with them.  Imagine going on a date with your parents!"  Clark says.

Clark says the show helps you understand what does and doesn't work in dating, which is something she's already tried to figure out by sharing her dating experiences with her listeners on the Ben and Kelly Show on WDJX Radio.

"I just figured all of my dating life in Louisville is out in the open.  I talk about it on the air with Ben and Kelly, so why wouldn't I do something on national television.  Everyone here knows my business; it's not that different for me.  It's just more people knowing," she explains.

Clark says, through Coupled, she made some great, new friends who came to visit for the Kentucky Derby, but we have to watch to find out whether she found love.

A premiere party is being held Tuesday night at the old Sully's on 4th Street Live!  Win tickets by listening to the Ben and Kelly Show.
