LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky will hold its 13th Annual Fundraising "Roaring 20s" Brain Ball on Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Louisville Marriott East Hotel.

The Varga family held the first Brain Ball in 2003, in support of Mary Varga, a brain injury survivor who was assisted by BIAK during her recovery.  Guests of the Brain Ball will step back in time and enjoy a cocktail reception featuring The Gold Digger, a signature cocktail designed by Tim Laird, chief entertainment officer of Brown-Forman Corporation and the host of Secrets of Louisville Chefs Live.  The evening features dinner, a live program including a look at the faces of brain injury, and presentation of the 13th Annual Mary Varga Award honoring Alex Naurert, also a brain injury survivor.

Guests will enjoy a  live auction and end the evening at the "Cotton Club" After Party, where they will dance the night away with the fabulous live band, Kudmani ( 9pm-12am).  Tickets are available for the After Party Only.

Brain Ball event co-ordinator Pamela Broadus is showing some of the silent auction items.  Brown-Forman's Chief Entertainment Officer Tim Laird has also created a signature "Gold Digger" cocktail for the event.
