LOUISVILLE, Ky (WDRB) -- A new sweet shop in Middletown is taking donuts and desserts to the next level.
WDRB's Keith Kaiser stopped by to see Yonutz!
The company was started by a husband-and-wife team of Jenny and Tony Bahu, based out of Sunrise, Florida, right outside of Ft. Lauderdale.
Most known for their smashed doughnuts, they won 'Dessert Wars' numerous times in Miami, Atlanta, & Las Vegas.
They also have smashed milkshakes, breakfast sandwiches, refresher drinks, mini doughnuts, and gourmet big doughnuts.Â
The franchise recently made its way to Louisville.
The Hiner's (Ben, Amanda, and their son, Austin) have the locally owned Yonutz! in Middletown. The family plans to help open other locations in Kentucky, Indiana, and Cincinnati area.
