GUSTON, Ky. (WDRB) -- Roberts Family Farm is getting ready for another fall season@

WDRB's Keith Kaiser gets a tour before the 26th opening day, scheduled for Saturday.

The farm has been in Roberts family for over 100 years. In 2000, they opened to the public and have been growing ever since.

Every fall, they invite schools to bring students, groups to bring their members, and families to come together.

Discover U-Pick Blackberries in the summer, Christmas trees during the winter, and Momma Rob’s Bakery throughout the year.

Momma Rob’s Bakery has pies, cakes, cookies, homemade apple butter, and cheesecake.

The farm includes a petting zoo, playground with a giant slide, 5-acre corn maze, pumpkin patch & hayrides, and an apple cannon aimed at hanging targets, junk cars, and tractors.

In 2020, they opened the 6,000 sq. ft. "Venue" at Roberts Family Farm for special occasions.

The fall season events include: The annual 5K Run/Walk (opening day) benefitting Meade County Schools FRYSC, The Great Pumpkin Pursuit & Watermelon Weigh-Off, The Meade County Cattleman’s Cookoff, and Special Needs Day.

Roberts Family Farm has also supported Jude's Jingle Tree in the past by donating the Christmas tree.
