LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Celebrate Asian culture at the Waterfront Botanical Gardens.
WDRB's Keith Kaiser learns about the 2nd annual Bonsai Weekend.
The event features the Greater Louisville Bonsai Society and a spectacular display of bonsai trees, engaging workshops, and demonstrations, all designed to introduce visitors to the ancient art of bonsai.
Dozens of exquisite bonsai trees will demonstrate the meticulous care and artistry involved in this centuries-old practice.
Special guest artist and show judge Phil Malhiot will provide expert insights and critiques.
Participate in bonsai workshops and see demonstrations by the Greater Louisville Bonsai Society, ideal for both beginners and seasoned enthusiasts.
Guests can also vote for their favorite bonsai tree for the People’s Choice Award, presented on the final day.
The weekend includes children’s programming, bonsai vendors and Asian-inspired cuisine.
