LOUSVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The annual Bourbon Classic is a premier, four-day celebration of bourbon and culinary artistry.

WDRB's Keith Kaiser joined Michter's Fort Nelson Distillery to get ready for an exciting weekend.

The 2025 lineup includes a diverse range of talent, showcasing the best of the best in the world of food and drink, including two James Beard Award semifinalists, a James Beard Foundation emerging chef finalist, a “Top Chef” contestant, and two Food Network “Chopped” champions.

Master bartenders will be matched with an acclaimed chef and a Bourbon Classic sponsored distillery.

Each team will compete for the title of “best cocktail,” "best small plate,” and “best pairing.” Attendees will have the opportunity to sample each cocktail and small plate.

A select panel of media personalities and industry experts will evaluate the cocktails and small plates individually, and as pairings, and then select winners.

Michter's Fort Nelson Distillery has joined the festivities over the last 10 years.

This year, Michter's is one of seven participants in the Bourbon University and one of 18 teams competing in the Cocktail and Culinary Challenge.

35 vendors and three restaurants make up the Taste - finishing out the weekend.
