We've been riding a decent amount above our average high temperatures in the mid 70s for a while now. It's Fall so, where is...Fall? It's not uncommon to get temperatures in the mid to upper 80s this time of the year, but it's about time we actually start feeling like Fall right?
Mother Nature will provide us with just that in the coming days, at least for a little bit. By Monday, our humidity climbs back up and we become muggy again. This provides enough moisture for a few storms on Monday, but that's not the best rain chance of the week.Â
Tuesday for now looks to be better. A front will be sliding through our area on Tuesday and that will bring in a good amount of rain and storms through the day.

This will bring in a good amount of rain for our area as well. Most data shows more than 0.50" of rain for a lot of us by the time this front leaves our area. This will help combat some drought, but won't get rid of it. The best thing about this front though is what comes behind it.Â
More temperatures back into the 70s for highs and 40s for lows for some of us will be on the way by Thursday this week. Data isn't consistent on how long we can keep it that way, but we will have to take the small victories where we can get them!
