Oaks Forecast.png

We've got a chilly day on tap for the races at Churchill Downs on Friday! From morning to afternoon, we'll be well-below average. And there will be some rain chances in the mix as well. Let's dig into that forecast.

We'll start the day with a cold front moving into the region. Lows will dip into the 40s for most by Friday morning even before the front arrives. Spotty showers will be present along this boundary, but it's more likely than not that most of us get through the morning bone dry.

The cold front will slide through most of our area by noon. This will take away all of the rain chances for the evening races, but it will also ensure that we stay cool for the rest of the day.

Overall, it isn't a bad day to be out at the track, but it's a good idea to wear something to help keep you warm!
