Former Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin spoke at an event to tout UPS'Â plan to invest $750 million in its Worldport global shipping hub at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport during the next 15 years, and to add 1,000 high-paying jobs during that period. Kentucky spends more per person on tax giveaways to companies for economic development than most border states, according to a WDRB analysis of public data. The Bluegrass State gave away $176 million last year.Â
