LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man who pleaded guilty in 2018 to three counts of facilitation to murder when he was 15 years old appeared Monday before a judge.
Anjuan Carter was originally sentenced to serve 10 years in a juvenile detention facility in Nov. 2016 for the murders of Christopher Jones, as well as teen brothers Larry Ordway and Maurice Gordon.
That sentence was part of a plea deal in which Carter pleaded guilty to three counts of facilitation to murder and one count of tampering with physical evidence.
Those murders were masterminded by Brice Rhodes.
Carter got out on probation, but court records claim he violated it in 2022. But he’s been locked up in Florida on a burglary case.
After serving his time there, he was brought back before a judge in Louisville for the lingering probation violation.
Carter’s attorney tried to get him on home incarceration, but it was denied for now. A hearing is scheduled for next week.
