LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Memorial Day weekend is upon us, and there are plenty of things to do and see across Kentuckiana.
Here are a selection of events, markets, concerts and more happening Friday, May 23 to Monday, May 26, 2025.
Abbey Road on the River
Abbey Road on the River will return to Jeffersonville for its 23rd year in time for Memorial Day weekend.
The world's largest Beatles tribute and classic rock festival is happening May 22 through May 26 at Big Four Station Park, near the walking bridge, in downtown Jeffersonville. The festival honors the music of the Beatles and other iconic bands from the 60s and 70s, with 200 concerts by 50 bands across five stages.
This year's festival includes a Beatles vs. the Stones showdown, a concert by Grammy Award-winning guitarist Laurence Juber—the lead guitarist and vocalist in Paul McCartney's Wings—and much more.
New this year, the "Baby you can Drive My Car Show" Saturday and Sunday during the festival. The car show will feature vintage cars from Mustangs, Chevelles and more from the 60s and 70s.
In addition to live performances, other festival activities include group singalongs, free guitar lessons and art installations. Vendor booths will also be on hand, with classic rock memorabilia, vinyl records, art and more. Fifteen local food trucks and restaurants will also be on-hand
Single-day tickets to Abbey Road on the River start at $35, a price that will be available before 2 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the festival box office. Organizers said Tuesday prices will increase after 2 p.m. and at the festival gates.
Each adult general admission ticket purchased in advance of the festival includes free admission for one guest age 21 or under, organizers said in a news release. Big Four Station also includes a playground, interactive art and more for kids to enjoy.

The festival schedule is as follows:
- Thursday, May 22: Festival gates open at noon, with music from 1-11 p.m.
- Friday, May 23 through Sunday, May 25: Gates open at noon, with music from noon to midnight.
- Monday, May 26: Gates open at noon, with music from 1-11 p.m.
Fleur De Flea Vintage Urban Market
The Fleur De Flea Vintage Urban Market returns to Waterfront Park this Saturday, May 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
More than 200 vendors will be set up for the outdoor market, selling items from vintage, vinyl and antiques, to handmade items, collectables, curiosities and more.
Some of Louisville's best food trucks and vendors will also be on hand, providing food and cold beverages. There will also be a beer garden with local breweries.
The pet-friendly, free event is referred to as the "biggest vintage market in Kentuckiana."
Organizers said there is plenty of parking
The Fleur De Flea Vintage Urban Market will be held at The Festival Plaza at Waterfront Park, 231 E. Witherspoon St.

Star Valley Strawberry Festival
A popular southern Indiana festival makes strawberries the center of attention this weekend.
The Starlight St. John's Catholic Church Strawberry Festival was an annual tradition in the region of Star Valley, Indiana, for over 40 years.
It was created to bring the family together to enjoy the day and support the beautiful community of Star Valley.
The Friends of Borden Community Park picked up the tradition, and renamed it the Star Valley Strawberry Festival.
The festival's new home at Borden Community Park is filled with an assortment of fun and entertainment all day, leading up to an evening performance by Top Shelf.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of foods that include strawberry-themed drinks and desserts, especially the world-famous "Build Your Own Strawberry Shortcake Bar."
Listen to live music all day, visit craft booths, play classic festival games and bingo, jump in the bounce houses and visit the petting zoo.
The festival is held annually on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. This year's edition runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at Borden Community Park, 100 E. Main St., Borden, Indiana.

Kentucky Flea Market Memorial Day Spectacular
It’s one of the largest flea markets in the country, and this weekend the Kentucky Expo Center was taken over by thousands of people wanting the best deals.
The Kentucky Flea Market Memorial Day Spectacular will be set up in the West Wing of the Kentucky Expo Center starting Friday, May 23, through Monday, May 26.
Explore more than 600 booths with bargains and deals on everything from antiques, collectibles and electronics, to clothing, accessories, arts and crafts, and more. The flea market's $5 and under overstock sale will also return.
The flea market has been a Louisville tradition for over 50 years, and typically happens more than once a year.
Admission is free, but parking costs $15. You can get a $7.50 rebate/cash back with any purchase.
The flea market runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.

2nd Annual Roots Revue
Sam Bush will headline the 2nd Annual Roots Revue this weekend in Paristown.
The festival will bring two days of live bluegrass music to the revitalized cultural arts and entertainment district off Brent Street, in Louisville's Paristown Pointe neighborhood.
Organizers said Roots Revue will further create and build "an annual home for bluegrass music in the state of the bluegrass."
The festival benefits The Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music (KSBTM), based in Hyden, Kentucky.
It features regional artists, gathering to celebrate Kentucky's "authentic musical roots." Students will showcase their talents in the hopes of inspiring others to keep authentic bluegrass and traditional music alive.
Saturday's lineup includes: KSBTM Mountain Traditional Ensemble, Dean Osborne Band, Mama Said String Band, Bibelhauser Brothers and Sam Bush Band.
Sunday's lineup includes: Louisville Folk School Bluegrass Ensemble, Marion Halliday & Trickster Sister, The Moron Brothers, Gary Brewer & The Kentucky Ramblers and The Seldom Scene.
Gates open at 3 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday, with music starting at 4 p.m. The final act of each day is scheduled to finish at 10:45 p.m.
The music festival will also feature local food and cocktails. Tickets range from $30-$45; Youth tickets cost $10; children under 10 get in for free.
Roots Revue runs Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25, at the Paristown cultural arts and entertainment district, located at 270 Brent St., just outside downtown Louisville.
